Dear Delegates,
Plans are well underway for an exciting conference in Dublin in September. We welcome our colleagues from IPEM in the U.K. and through EFOMP all our friends from right across Europe and beyond.We have confirmed a large number of exciting guest speakers including Willi Kalender who will deliver the IPEM Woolmer Lecture on his role in the development of Spiral CT. Thomas Mackie with his vast experience in Radiotherapy will give the O’Connor lecture. There will be sessions on Hybrid Imaging and a pre-conference workshop in association with AAPM on Justification and Optimisation with leading speakers from Europe and North America. We will have some great insights from Heinz Wolf in the area of Rehabilitation engineering and a strong session on Health Failure Mode and Effect Analysis.
There will also be a special session on Innovation and how we can think more innovatively. Morning tutorials will be given each day in Rotational Therapy, Imaging, 1D Systems and FMEA.
